Smart Wheel Demount Press Cell For Wagon Wheelset Dismount 15 Sets Per Hour
1. Application scope:
This Smart Wheelset Disassembly Cell (Wheel dismount line) is used to dismount the wagon wheelsets (wheels and brake disc). The press can dismount at least 15 wheelsets per hour.
The Wheelset Disassembly Cell consists of:
1) 1 set of wheelset loading trolley
2) 1 set of double cylinder wheelset demount press
3) 2 set of wheel overturning and stacking machine
4) 1 set of axle storage rack
5) 2 set of brake disc storage rack
2. Operation procedure:
1) First, the movable baffle devices of the wheelset press move to the set position.
2) The the wheelset rolls onto the loading trolley and the trolley delivers the wheelset into the press and make the wheels insert into the baffle devices
3) The trolley exits out of the press
4) The Press rams extend out to dismount the wheels and brake discs
5) The baffle devices retract and the dismounted wheels rolls onto the wheel overturning machine, overturned and stacked, and lifted away by crane.
6) Meanwhile, the trolley goes to pick up the dismounted axle and sends it to the axle storage rack, and lifted away by the crane.

4. Performance Features of the Wheelset Disassembly Press:
1) Automatically dismount the 2 wheels and brake discs on the same axle simultanously without turning the axle and in a sequence first the wheel at one side of the axle then the wheel at the other side.
2) Overall gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
3) With double ram cylinders for pressing.
4) Special patented centering mechanisms for center hole positioning.
5) Movable baffle devices for dismounting the wheels and brake discs
6) Siemens PLC and AdvanTech Industrial PC to control the automatic dismounting operation.
7) The wheelset press can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer.
